While many analysts believe that Nvidia needing an indefinite license to export — and essentially being blocked — to sell its H20 GPUs to China is a negative for the Jensen Huang-led company, UBS said it could come with a silver lining

“While clearly reducing NVDA’s ability to beat and raise, this may be a clearing event for the stock if in exchange for committing to build $500B of AI infrastructure in the US over the next [4 years], NVDA used this as concession to effectively kill the AI Diffusion Rule,” analyst Timothy Arcuri wrote in a note to clients
