NVIDIA Unveils NVLink Fusion at Computex 2025: High-Speed Interconnect Now Open to Third-Party CPUs and Custom AI Accelerators

BREAKING: Nvidia has unveiled NVLink Fusion at Computex 2025, a new initiative that opens its high-speed NVLink interconnect technology to third-party CPUs and custom AI accelerators, enabling semi-custom AI infrastructure beyond Nvidia-only products. Key partners include Qualcomm, Fujitsu, MediaTek, Marvell, and others. Built on fifth-gen NVLink, Fusion delivers up to 1.8 TB/s bandwidth per GPU-14x faster than PCIe Gen5-supporting both rack-scale and data center-scale AI systems for massive models and next-gen workloads. Notably, Fujitsu’s 2nm, 144-core Monaka CPU and Qualcomm’s server CPUs will connect directly to Nvidia GPUs, while custom accelerators from multiple vendors can be tightly integrated. Nvidia also introduced Mission Control, a unified software platform for automating management and orchestration across NVLink Fusion-connected AI infrastructure
