US Job Growth Slows In July

🚨 US job growth is slowing: July added just 73,000 jobs (vs. 106,000 expected).
Unemployment is 4.2%, but here’s the kicker—June’s job gain was revised down to +14,000 (from 147,000) and May to +19,000 (from 144,000). That’s 258,000 jobs wiped out from earlier reports in just two months. The job market is weakening more than it seemed, which could hit hiring, wages, and Fed plans.
