UOB Q2 Profit Jumps 10% to S$1.48B as Fee Income Surges, NIM Guidance Held Steady

‼️ BREAKING: Singapore’s United Overseas Bank (UOB) (SGX:UOBH) posted a 10% rise in second-quarter net profit on Friday. Net profit for the three months ended June 30 rose to S$1.48 billion ($1.15 billion) from S$1.34 billion a year earlier. Net interest income slipped 2% to S$2.30 billion. Net fee income climbed 5% to S$665 million. Other non-interest income jumped 28%. Non-performing loan ratio remained unchanged at 1.6%, while total credit allowances fell 24% from a year earlier. UOB maintained its 2026 guidance, forecasting low single-digit loan growth and low single-digit fee income growth, with full-year net interest margin expected at 1.75%-1.80%
