Bitcoin Retreats From $79,400 as ETF Outflows, Fed Risk and Regulatory Setback Darken Outlook

Alpha Binwani Capital: “Bitcoin briefly topped $79,400 on September 15 before retreating toward $77,600 as inflation concerns, rising geopolitical risk, and tighter financial conditions weighed on risk assets. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw roughly $463 million in net outflows over four sessions last week, ending a three-week inflow streak and signaling softer institutional demand. The cryptocurrency now enters a key macro window, with investors focused on the Fed’s rate decision, inflation data, Treasury yields, the dollar, and Middle East tensions. Meanwhile, the Clarity Act failed to advance in the Senate on Tuesday, cutting the market-implied odds of passage this year to 19%”
