Vertiv Shrugs Off Revenue Miss, Guides Full-Year Earnings Up as AI Demand Tightens Margins

Vertiv reports second-quarter sales of $3.27 billion, missing analyst estimates, while adjusted earnings of $1.52 a share beat expectations. Vertiv raises its full-year forecast to adjusted earnings of $6.65 to $6.75 a share on net sales of $13.8 billion to $14 billion.

The metric rose 16% over last year’s period to hit €2.6 billion ($3 billion) “driven by rates and credit.” That compared with analyst expectations for €2.4 billion. Deutsche Bank said the result was a record for the second quarter, helping to push profit in the period to €1.9 billion
